CSET Spanish Subtest 1 (Test Code 145) consists of two types of questions:

Each multiple-choice question has four answer options (A, B, C, D). There is no penalty for wrong answers, so answer every question — never leave one blank. When unsure, eliminate clearly wrong options first and choose from what remains.

CSET scores are reported on a scaled score range of 100–300. This is not a percentage. It reflects your performance relative to the difficulty of the specific questions on your exam version.

You will be photographed and asked to store personal belongings in a locker. Scratch paper is provided for notes during the exam. You can flag questions to return to before submitting.

Your score report shows your scaled score (100–300), whether you passed or did not pass, and — if you did not pass — a domain performance profile showing relative strength in each area.
